The University at Albany’s Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity has been designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) by the National Security Agency. This prestigious recognition reflects the academic quality, applied learning, and workforce readiness their program delivers. With the leadership of C. Ariel Pinto, Ph.D. and others, they have shaped a program that now meets the highest national standards in cybersecurity education.

This recognition marks a major step forward — not just for UAlbany, but for the entire community of employers and professionals who believe in investing in the future of cybersecurity.  Faction Networks look forward to expanding our collaboration with UAlbany and participation in the community through internships, mentoring, research collaboration, curriculum feedback, or recruiting of graduates for years to come.
