A Day of Inspiration and Learning at the INSPYRE Innovation Hub
An afternoon of panels, a keynote on AI at work, and networking at CenterState CEO's Cybersecurity, Technology and AI Summit in Syracuse.
Faction Networks just wrapped up an afternoon of great panels and networking at the stunning INSPYRE Innovation Hub by CenterState in Syracuse, for Future-Proof Your Business: Cybersecurity, Technology & AI Summit, hosted by CenterState CEO.
The keynote by Jeff Knauss, CEO and co-founder of Arcovo AI, was a tour de force on how AI is transforming the workplace, and on how Arcovo is helping to drive that.
The title of the afternoon says it well. Future-proofing a business now means treating cybersecurity, infrastructure and AI as one problem rather than three. AI is already inside the network and cybersecurity defenses, integrated into how businesses operate. The guardrails that matter once software starts acting on real systems are the unglamorous ones: least privilege, a narrow job for each agent, and a human approving anything irreversible.
Jeff Knauss made clear what the pay-off for excellent implementation of AI looks like: a decisive and constantly increasing competitive advantage. Four panels that followed took a deep dive into the different challenges of ensuring that leveraging AI for that benefit is aligned with safety, security, resilience, corporate values and culture, and legal and compliance considerations:
- People & Culture
- Technical & Infrastructure
- Incident Response & Recovery
- Compliance & Legal
The panels were moderated by Cainaan Webb of CenterState CEO and Lindsay Usherwood of Usherwood Office Technology.
Our thanks to Usherwood Office Technology, Bond, Schoeneck & King, Advanced iT and Metis Consulting Group for sponsoring the event, and CenterState CEO for hosting it. We look forward to joining many more such events at this dynamic new hub for entrepreneurship and innovation.
