Owner-Controlled Zero Trust
Your encryption keys and Certificate Authority belong to you — not a vendor's cloud. Faction's control plane is off the public internet: there is no public management endpoint to target, no central cloud service to compromise, and no vendor standing between you and your own trust. Every credential in the network is issued and signed by your CA, distributed only to authorized members.
Authentication Inside the Network
The Faction + iVALT integration runs iVALT's identity verification directly inside the Faction network — not through a cloud IAM broker or internet-facing Certificate Authority. Authentication traffic never traverses the public internet and cannot be intercepted or spoofed from outside. Cloud IAM platforms, identity brokers, and cloud-hosted CAs are themselves high-value internet-exposed targets. Faction + iVALT removes that entire class of vulnerability.
Human-in-the-Loop: Authority, Not Re-authentication
Most HITL implementations confirm a credential — which AI can already access. iVALT within Faction proves a real, present human authorized this specific action: cryptographically bound, biometrically verified, impossible to phish or delegate to an agent.
