Faction Networks just completed two days of exhibiting, networking, and panel discussions at the New York State Innovation Summit in Buffalo. The Summit, hosted by FuzeHub, brings together manufacturers, researchers, investors, and startups from across New York State, which is the right audience for the problem we focus on.

The machines that run a plant floor were not designed to sit on the Internet, and most of them cannot defend themselves. They have no agent to install, no patch cycle to rely on, and often no way to be updated at all. An attacker only needs one way in.

Cobots, robot lines, CNC machines, power inverters, battery storage systems, and assembly lines are targets for hostile state actors such as Volt Typhoon, as well as ransomware gangs. Many companies do not realize that even devices such as IP security cameras and printers can serve as entry points for these attackers.

Faction takes those machines and devices off the Internet and into your own owner-controlled Faction Network. No agents to install. Minimal IT support. No rip-and-replace of existing equipment. Deployment options include:

We are signing up manufacturers for a free 60-day pilot. There is no obligation to continue, your pricing is locked in if you do, and our team works alongside you throughout. The goal is to address the vulnerabilities that matter most, on the equipment you already have.

MSPs and MSSPs: If you look after other organizations' infrastructure, there is a program for you as well. Fill out the form or email us at partners@factionnetworks.com.
